Quote of the Episode:
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
– Arthur Ashe
We all come into the world in less than perfect conditions. No matter what you were blessed with at birth, everyone walks through life with work to do.
The Creative Force of the Universe gives us a huge opportunity by planting us here. We get the chance to take whatever we were given – good, bad, or ugly – and transform it to fit the vision we set for ourselves.
As children, we’re masters at this. Whether we live in a shack or a mansion, our minds shape our surroundings into anything we can imagine. A blanket and chair become a tent in the woods. Our bedroom closet become a castle. There is nowhere we can’t go.
As we grow, we tend to forget that power. It becomes buried under insecurities and the fallout of bad relationships. We heap comparison on top of it because of the constant bombardment of advertising and celebrity culture that shouts that we aren’t good enough.
We look outside ourselves for magic that’s been brewing inside us all the time.
We admire in others the things we hide in ourselves. Let’s stop doing that.
Each of us came into the world with more gifts and talents than we could ever fulfill in a single lifetime. We get to choose where we want to focus, and hone that skill to magnificence.
You’re immensely gifted, and the world needs that spark that only you possess. What you choose to do with it is up to you; just know that someone out there is searching for it.
The people who love you already see the glimmers of greatness inside you. Nothing holds you back but the belief that you aren’t worthy.
Let go of that belief and flourish.
- We spend so much time looking outside ourselves for answer we already possess. We project what we possess.
- Nothing holds us back more than our belief that we aren’t worthy/ready.
- You are immensely gifted. What you choose to do with that is up to you.
